On August 26, 2026, the power bank developed and manufactured by JOWAY officially received its new standard 3C certification.
After completing product development, laboratory equipment upgrades, testing and verification, and certification application, we now have mature R&D, testing, and mass production capabilities for new standard 3C power banks.
Improved Safety Performance
The new standard 3C-certified power bank features improved safety performance, including:
Power Manager APP: Monitors output power, battery cell cycle count, temperature protection, overcharge and over-discharge protection, and other information in real time.
Needle Penetration Test: Passed a 4 mm steel needle penetration test without fire or explosion.
Compression Test: Different compression standards are applied based on the type of battery cell, including pouch and hard-shell cells.
High-Temperature Thermal Shock Test: Withstands continuous heating at 135°C for 60 minutes, maintaining stability and safety under high-temperature conditions.
Overcharge Protection Test: The charging withstand-voltage requirement has been increased to 1.3 times, reducing the risk of fire and explosion.
Lithium Precipitation Test: After 300 cycles of aging testing, lithium-ion battery cells are strictly required to prevent lithium metal precipitation.
Compliance and Traceability
The power bank clearly indicates its recommended service life to help users replace aging devices in a timely manner. It also carries the official 3C certification mark and a traceable QR code, allowing users to scan and verify the certification information quickly and easily.
